BANDAI Action Kit Universal Cup (also known as "BAKUC") is an international modeling competition officially sanctioned and managed by BANDAI to
give modelers the opportunity to show their works and to encourage new modelers. The international BAKUC Final event is held in Hong Kong in
December
2008 and winners from this website will be invited to this prestigious international competition to represent North America.
Below is a list of our current contests:
To compete in the BAKUC Online Contest, you must first register as a member of the BAKUC family.
Click here (or click on the "Register" button at
the top of the page) to sign up now! Once you are registered, follow the "
Upload Photos" link to create an entry and upload photos of your finished model.
After you've uploaded your model, go to the "
Contests" page and use the easy drop-down menus to enter your model in the Monthly Contest or the BAKUC Semi-Final. Or both!
Please note that the BAKUC Online Contest is actually two simultaneous contests: The BAKUC Monthly Contest and the BAKUC Semi-Final. Modelers are welcome
to enter a single model in both contests, but are not required to do so.
Registered modelers may upload unaltered photographs of their Bandai kits for entry into the BAKUC Contest. Modelers must be a resident of North America
to be eligible for participation in this contest. Once a model entry is uploaded, other modelers can vote on the model and leave comments. At the end
of each month, a panel of judges will review all submitted entries and announce the winners of the BAKUC for that month. Winners of the BAKUC Semi-Final
are automatically entered for a chance to compete at the BAKUC Final in Hong Kong and meet the Masked BAKUC himself!
In addition to the BAKUC monthly contest, a random drawing will be held each week among all the entered models for a chance to win more Bandai prizes!
