HGUC Ellen's Advanced Hazel  Discussions »
Custom Advanced Hazel designed for use by my created Gundam pilot Ellen.

Customisations:

-Removal of Arms pack at front
-Addition of nozzles at reverse of kit using Gutermann beads

Painting:

-Citadel Foundation undercoat
-Citadel Foundation, Acrylic and self mixed Folkart acrylic based Basecoats
-Self mixed acrylic weathering washes
-Self mixed drybrushed acrylic highlighting and weathering
-Mitsubishi UNiPin 0.1mm pigment marker panel lining

This kit, despite it's complexity, was a very smooth building process. I had a lot of fun making the kit and was able to do the majority of it, seam removal and all over the course of a day or so.

Painting it was similarly smooth going, though I had a little trouble with paint-scraping on the internal parts in the elbows. I'd expected painting this to take around 4 days, but I enjoyed working on it so much it took only 2 and a half.

I painted the shield but in the end left it out of the final pose and photoshoot as I often feel those extras overcrowd the kit.
