MG Freedom Gundam  Discussions »
This is from about 2 years ago, a MG Freedom Gundam with some parts taken from the Core-Works Strike Freedom resin kit and some aluminium parts for thrusters, barrels, etc. Also used some cut-down "gem" pieces for the camera parts in the head. Had a lot of problems with paint not sticking to the resin, and then the blue parts needing stripping and repainting, but I'm overall pleased with the result. Custom decals were printed myself or from Samueldecal, and the base was made from an acrylic stand and a wooden plinth, I then stained the wood with blue ink and painted over it with Golden Acrylic gel medium.

Mostly Mr Colour paints, can't remember if I used any Tamiya or not. Flat topcoat is Testors Dulcote. I apologise for the quality of some of the photos, but having sold the finished piece I can't take better ones now. :(
I forgot I'd taken this picture, it shows off the beam sabre mods (metal tubing where the clear parts insert) nicely.
