Yea, it's painted with cheap acrylics from michaels. Silver+clear yellow for the gold parts.
Had fun. Didn't have a girl to give it to though. I brought DID bring it to school and every class, whip it out on my desk. It attracted the attention of some cute girls who I knew were artsy.

BACK to the model....I learned that a white coat of paint REALLY helps with changing color schemes(w/o primer at least), blue parts to red paint= hard combination. Wish I learned that earlier.....
