smeagolthevile 10/07 16:14		Hey, on the token of my last post which had links to this site... There is something I want to talk with you, and some others about. As a group, Anime/Mecha/Sci-fi modelers, we tend to stick to ourselfs. Our sites (like this one) and our forums tend to be mainly centered around mecha and anime. There is a severe separation between us and the rest of the modeling world. I myself am trying to bridge that gap, as well as build those other types. Building the other types of models I talk to alot of people who build them that seem to have no respect for what us mecha guys do, they just pass of it off as kids stuff, or stuff japan obsessed people do. So, to my point. I am trying to get a few of the better modelers from here that I have spoken to before to take a gander and start posting a bit at a forum I frequent that has a SEVERE lack of representation from the Mecha modelers of the world. Its the forum for the Fine Scale magazine. http://cs.finescale.com/forums/ We have our own section but its small and dominated by starwars/startrek/battlestar galatica. I hope you can find some time to post your work, show some WIPs and teach those tank builders that our stuff is just as good as theirs!

lucasyear 07/28 19:14		i did edge sanding and never did pay attention to it after... haha u are right when u say it appears thick in the picture because of some peeling and some edge cutting which i didnt do anything about... and about washing it hahaha im not doin it... i'll do it next time... then i will not be using mk-2 as my competition model..hehe i'll work on my mod on hazel-2 thanks for the criticism and tips^_^

lucasyear 07/23 22:26		i did airbrush, but i used car acrylic primer... and i discovered that the primer isn't sticking even if it is at it's curing time.. and i didnt do dry brushing, what i did was paint chipping and edge sanding. i dont know what u mean by uneven paints.. can u tell me what areas please?

Anyhow, Me, Robofreak, and Deathworld_dragon are starting a forum for all our modeling goodness. http://deathworlddragon.proboards83.com/index.cgi is the link to it. At the moment it is only a bare bones forum, but we are working on getting a dedicated server, and making it nice and pretty. So please, come around and post a bit.
