If you kept the advice I gave you on the mud pile I would like you at some stage to improve this. When your Freedom is done come back to me and we will make a real terrain out of this starting project. PS: tri to look after you modeling equipment by smart storage Don't creat a big junk pile, respect your base piece and tool and stack them niecly...
the base doesnt look bad, but it doesnt look great either. the sprues and the black paint, I think he was trying to get rid of his junk and simulate a broken oil pipeline at the same time, imho
And I just noticed. I meant for the enamels to go in the bin or to someone who's been using those since the 70's. That stuff takes forever to dry and could possibly damage ground work. I also thought the chopped up sprue was a pile of weapons at first now that I see what it is I have no idea what you were trying to make. We can make this project look really good, but I need your full cooperation. It's not easy trying to help someone build something when they're several thousand miles away.
Okay, this thing is not finished. Not by a long shot. You've got to do several things to it before we continue with the Strike Freedom. 1. I want you to sand the outer border so that it is just bare wood 2. Make a wood border to go around it and use some gel stain for a nice finish on the wood 3. before the border you will need to spray all the groundwork black and then go happy with the drybrushing with different browns look at my Eva-03 entry to see what I mean 4. Add some greenery to it, I like to you the Woodland Scenics lichen moss 5. You need more models for the diorama, if you make a base that big for every kit you do you'll run out of shelf space real fast.
Ok! You run off again with out letting robofreak knowing. Second ask your self is that finished? And last does that dirt ring or the plastic frams you droped on it looks real? Please look at my models bases first befor posting this. Second please do not touch any project with out robofreak knowing. Personaly Im not happy with this...
