This is a suit I put alot of thought into. I wanted to be original...and how more so than to custom build the most controversial design in the gundam universe. This suit has been cursed by the Earth. Unknowing in what it has done, it roams its damner...the Earth! This is how I got the name...Turned bad, but not so much as sad. So, turn the 'Turn-A' and you get 'A'!To create this 'damned' look I used alot of silver...to seem more phantom-y. I painted its eyes silver, just a solid silver, to create a sorrowful glate. Now, before you damn me, guys, I did leave seam lines ONLY because they matched the contoures of the suit perfectly...The last picture shows the tweaks I did on my other Turn-A suits...The base is a scene in which A-Gundam had just knocked down a tree...Yuo can also see a Kapool hand with wires sticking out from it to indicate that that hand had been ripped out...Imagine this scene as I did...Foggy...

If you want phantomy just look at my zaku sniper. But as far as this kit goes, appart from the out of scale very nice base, its absolutley great compared to your older works, Congrats! im quite proud!
I don't know about being 'phantom-y' but this is your best work so far. Great base too plus the panel line weathering. You have a way to go but keep up the good work...
I would think that for a phantom look, it would be better to paint the white black and drybrush some german grey all over it. Also, use neon green in all the panels for a real interesting look.
also to give it a "phantom" look drybrush grey on the edges, I sometimes use graphite from a pencil by grinding it on sandpaper. and brusing it slowly and make sure you get it even ;) then topcoat ti so its safe :P
Hurray! Advice is finally starting to sink into that thick skull of yours! I actually really like the base. It looks great, but it's out of scale with the piece. It seems like you threw 1/144 scale mechs into a 1/35 diorama. My last bit of advice is next time you try to do a phantom, try focusing on black and dark greys. White just does not work for a phantom color, but other than that you're doing good! Your sensei is quite happy.
