Oni Gundam  Discussions »
A continuation of the 'A-Gundam' story. This gundam is the damner...With its left arm it absorbs the 'life' of a gundam. Compensation for this act is the gradual damage taken on by the Oni Gundam...Enjoy! Sorry for the blurry pictures...I had gashed my hand open earlier so my hands were shaky...

Not to happy with yur battle damage, looks like you just burnt it with a soldering iron. Play with it wth putty, file then paint the burn marks so it doesn't look like burnt plastic. Still a seam line problem but please don't tell me you left it in for a effect. Would like to see clearer photos so I can dig in the good stuff. Over all it looks ok...

One of your better pieces. I'm with agar on this. I would have rather seen the deterioration done differently.

The X is a interesting design, that I quite enjoy. Not sure if I care for the melted arm, although a creative idea, I dont think it was the best way of carrying it out. The panel lines look nice too, why don't you try your hand at doing wash panel lines?

The gash was from a couple of days ago...It is located on the skin in between my index finger and thumb...so with a big scab beeing there as well as a band-aid I can only stretch it so far...Oh...and thanks for the good feedback...Oh...again...my wound wasn't from modeling...I'm pretty careful when modeling...I'll PM the story to you...

Another thing, your getting better with the backdrop, BUT. Instead of tucking it in, let the sheet lay onto the ground sheet, so it makes a curve in the back, instead of a harsh corner, makes a nicer backdrop. Other then that, I like the kit, but I would like to see you build, paint, and not damage or mod, something thats colorfull. Something simple, I would like to see you tackle to simplest of designs, a CLASSIC GM

Zach, it isnt bad, but... a tip, from one modeler who likes to accidentally mangle his hands to another. When you gash your hand open, unless its just a little scratch, stop working until you can clean it out and it heals a lil. From my experiance, blood does not help the way the paint looks.
