deathworld_dragon 01/25 06:51		Some more notes to get you started. use file and knife of all seams and nubs befor building. If you have gaps fill them with putty. Once your model is primered it will be easy to paint and easyer to see if you made a misstake on the body of the model to clean befor painting. Mix paint well and water down your pant befor adding to model (paint will look a lot flater). Always wash your paint brushes well and take good care of your air brush. Look up on the net how model kits and how to model gundams (fitchen foo here has a nice one on his site). Go to youtube.com and look up modeling kits (show how to use cement, putty, ect on normal kits). And modeling gundams (they are in japanese but still really good). Also look up careing and how to use a air brush (I broke mine and it cost me a lot of money). This should get you started, if you have any questions let me know. As well always say around here happy modeling...

deathworld_dragon 01/25 06:42		Tool I use and can find in Australian hobby shops: Hobby knife, pin file, sand paper, soft modeling putty, tooth pick (super market), cotten swabs (super market), range of soft paint brushes, finest gundam liner of felt tip pen you can find, hobby plastic cement (in glass bottle with brush), Tamiya white fine spray can primer, range of Tamiya acrylic paints, double action air brush and compresser (get a good one). This would be a great start to becoming a really skilled modeler. The more of these tools you get the better your models will become befor you start improving you skilles.
