This is my latest work, the MG Hi Nu Gundam VP Conversion. It was a straightforward job involving cleaning resin, priming, and painting. The decals are from mechaskunk and a few from Bandai Hi Nu waterslides. The decals included with VP kit were all dry transfers, so I just used the red emblems on the shield and left shoulder and decided to skip out on the rest. Its hard to tell from the 5 measely pics I am posting, but from my count I placed approximately 200 decals on this kit over 5 hours of work. I think I went a little overboard on the decals stemming from my doubts of whether I did right by going with the original color scheme. I had considered and rejected numerous color schemes before settling on the original blue and white. I do love the result but in future I am definitely going to depart from original schemes and experiment more

I just posted my Hi Nu so Bakuc should take a few hours to post them up. It's not as awesomely painted as yours but let me know what you think! I'm still dreaming of that day that I can match your painting skills! Again... your Hi-Nu is AWESOME!
Such a beautiful model! The colors are so nice and bold and the shading on various parts of the model is outstanding! The amount of decals is just right and gives the model even more depth. This model is just way too awesome! What brand of paint did you use to get that awesome blue color?
I like the conversion, think I'll get one for my Hi-Nu. The inside of the shield seems to be lacking something. More close-up pics pls. 24 socket pins in the funnels alone, nice. The amount of decals is fine, maybe 1 pair less per leg,arm,and shoulders. Very fine build indeed.
Another nice project! I'll (probably) never fault a model for too many decals, and it doesn't feel overdone to me at all. They all seem like believable warning stencils in logical places. Looks great! I want a Hi-Nu, but it sucks to have to get a conversion when there's a new (but badly proportioned) MG. Bandai dropped the ball on this one. Good job with the conversion!!! Sexy!
