A personal modification of the Gundam Seed Blitz Gundam. First attempt at heavy modifications outside the Zeta Gundam and first attempt at scratch building a major component of a mobile suit. It was on public display at the 25th Australian Open IPMS Model Expo...

This was built with a HG 1/144 Blitz Gundam, Electrode Lolita mecha-musal figure, Zoid parts, Putty and styrene sheets...

Painting:
Sprayed with Tamiya aerosol paint, Citadel Inks Hobby and Tamiya acrylics and enamels...

Modification:
Back pack scratch built, Shield extended then blade added, knees added, beam saber replaced, vents and gun barrels drilled, seam lines scribed and other finer details...

Creativity:
Most built to test out some new techniques. Just had some cool ideas and wanted to run with them...

Base:
Made with putty, floor foam, PVA glue and sand...
