Bandai 1/550 MA-08 Big Zam (one year war ver.)  Discussions »
My second vintage mobile amour kit. I wanted to show the power and scale of Dozle Zabi and the
Battle of Solomon (24 December, UC 0079). I kept this model to its original design and color scheme...

This was built using the full kit and Zaku from the 1:550 Val-walo...

Painting:
Tamiya acrylics and enamels, Gunze acrylics, Citadel old and new inks and a gundam marker. This kit was both air brushed and hand painted...

Modification:
IC pins in thrusters, mega particle gun drilled out and re-built using styrene, missile pods and anti-aircraft particle guns drilled out and detailed with putty, box built inside body to hold legs and hide inner walls of kit, Zaku machine gun scratch built, turret scratch built...

Base:
Made with putty, PVA glue, sand, styrene and war gamming rubble...

Loving the texture as always! the base is a tad small for the mech though. ;)
