I think the reason you did'nt win was because of several things. 1. seam lines, they're everywhere. 2. the pilot you painted does'nt look real enough, you should have left him out. 3. The Strike on the ground in butt naked. You should have left the armour on several sections and have severe damage to certain panels. Finally, the base does'nt fit what you were trying to achieve. It would have a lot more impact if you had the defeated Strike laying on a meteor with the other Strike starting to take off and go "back to the base". Your painting is some of the best I've seen from you so far, but your going to need to think out your dioramas a little more if you are to win the Bakuc. |

Its a new friend and the BAKUC 2008 trophy is up for grabs. You find last years winner model pictures, crits, blogs what ever and study why they won. Look back to your piece and see where you need to improve and pay attention to the comments here. Whit your goal and these put together you will be closer to your trophy. I know because im working towards the Australian Open Model Expo first place this year. Good luck and happy modeling... |

honestly, I used this gundam too when I joined and lost my BAKUC 2006 trophy :D~.
The main reason from the judges was located on the I.W.S.P. parts. It's better to see in the real image what kind of paint is I.W.S.P.
the IWSP, have two mounted air intakes that hang on the wings. That's maybe your mistake :D....The real IWSP's intakes is blue painted (di pinggirannya) and I think that you've to paint with grey paint inside the intakes(kinds of two fans in each intakes)... |

Well, I can give you a few comments. If the strike on the ground was destroyed in battle, why is; A, all the armor off. B, There no damage. Also, I see a few of those nasty son-bitch seam lines you forgot to fix Next, the mini figures, the painting is good, but I suggest modifying their poses just a little, so there not so just... rigid. The last thing is... why is the IWSP flying, when there is no pilot in the cockpit, seems dangerous. Anyhow, it is a nice job, and good paint job |
