Awesome and pro work man! The hanger and Zeong damage is dome very well plus all those bits of details like crewmembers running around and posters on the hanger wall is top notch. The paint job on the Kampfer shows you are no beginner to any hobby including Gundams man, real pro work and to die for. The hanger looks like they just brought in the damaged Zeong then the Kampfer breaks in and picks up Char. One question, why is the Kampfer breaking in, is it because the Earth Alliance has taken over the hanger or two divisions of Zeon is having an internal fight. Either way 10/10 buddy, can't wait to see more of your work... |

Ayt bro...I'm not a fan of doing handbrush, coz its's fairly difficult to produce a smooth finish with handbrushing ( I know, building up on thin layers, I'm a fine arts graduate man...beginner in gundam, but pretty advance in most paint applications ). thanks anyways...:) |

Remember man, you dont need to airbrush or spray everything. Whenever I do the clear over silver/clear over real metal. I hand brush the clear on using Humbrol clear enamel paints. |

super thanks to all...smeagolthevile, thanks for the pointers, first time to post a dio. I did what you said about painting the thrusters however, this kit was painted with spray cans, so to produce a fairly looking clear red I had to shower the can ( tamiya ) almost inside the thrusters to reach the hard corners, but still I was not able to reach the hard to cover corners of the thrusters...I bought a Tamiya dual action airbrush after doing this kit due to the masking problems and impossible coverage of cans in tight areas, thus I think I could produce better kits for next year. I've done a couple of 144 kits with my airbrush and I'm pretty happy with the results so far. anyways thanks for the comments man. I'll post a better painted kit soon. :) |

Amazing model! The color coordination and the sharpness of the model is astounding! It's so detailed and the color combinations are quite awesome! The change in color on the left side is freaking awesome too! |

a few tips. First, try and put the shot of the entire diorama as your first pic up, so people dont have to search for it. Second, you overpainted the line on the chest, you should make sure your masking tape is burnished down fully. Also, when doing thrusters. Try painting them a really lusterious silver, then sealing it, then painting over it with a CLEAR red, as opposed to a normal red, works well. |
