Sprayed with generally flat colours, except for the pink, which is semi gloss. I added liberal amounts of pearl powder to the topcoat over the pink sections, but it's basically impossible to pick up with anything but the naked eye. Used Alclad Aluminum for the frame, and corrected the small problem where Bandai produced the vent on the Aile Striker in red, instead of yellow. I AM a beginner, so go easy.
Base is made from an acrylic photo frame and a custom image.

Awesome work man! I belive the Strike Rouge is one of the nicer mobile suit designs in seed and you have done a great job with this kit. I belive after you build a few models and iron out some hobby related problems you will be ace. 10/10 for the base...
While the issue with the seams is a detraction, this is still a great looking piece. Very well painted, well-posed, well-photographed, and an great looking display base. Go back and cover the minor build issues, and you've got an outstanding piece. I look forward to seeing your future builds.
