MG 1/100 RX79(G) Diorama - "Backup!"  Discussions »
The story: The backup for ammunition has arrived! Hence for the 2 RX79, one is pretty worn out, while another one is still in good condition, with just a few scratches while walking in the forest.

Did this last year. Was trying out woodlandscenics' foliage. Really had fun doing this. 3 weeks time for 2 OOB MG RX79 and a small forest dio.

C & C welcome!:)

Thanks so much guys for the kind words. i m stilling learning in modeling and sometimes got really worn out in the hobby. and all the encouragement really helps me to continue! thanks again!:) Donc & iq40: i think u guys really spotted one of the biggest flaw in this dio, the trees r too tall for 1/100 scale dio! heheh:-p yeah agree adding a tank or any thing we can easily recognize in real life definitely helps in "correcting" the illusion that the RX79 r too "small". one big lesson i learned in making diorama. will definitely improve next time! thanks. Shinnji: i first use cutter, and other tools to make the surface uneven. then paint every scratches with brush and enamel paint. i am still not too good in doing this cause i realised if u look at the kit closely, the scratches might look ok. but when u look from far, it's like the RX79 got some serious measles problems :P

Upgrade your class bro, intermediate at least or advance! great weathering! adding a tank along with the mecha would be great to show the scale of this giants, just my 2 cents man. :)
