If you want it beat up then you need to do more than dry brushing. Make a few marks with a knife or hobby drill and apply scratched with a sponge and grey paint. Then apply a wash to make it dirty (try watered down brown or black).
Hey, leme ask your opinion, im doing the same kit, but diffrent set up. Im using the arm as just a section of the mech, not destroyed but im not sure how to weather it, I want want it really beat up, should I just do a bit of drybrushing and such on the forarm?
