I've decided to go with a 'digital camo' scheme this time around - just for something different - with a black/white/grey/blue colours to give it an Urban camo style. I originally intended to have perfect patterns but in the end I felt that a random effect worked better.
The basic method for painting was prime then paint the white layer, mask shapes then paint a grey layer, mask once more and add a final black layer. It was much easier to start with white and go darker with each layer than the other way around. White colour over black is very difficult to do.
