Oh no! Not another Strike Freedom on Bakuc. I originally was'nt going to do one but, it was a gift so I decided to go ahead and see what all the fuss is about with this kit.
First thing I liked about it was the lack of seam lines but, then I ran into the wings. Bandai has figured out how to piss me off by putting virtually all of the seams on the wings which was somewhat annoying. I stayed stock but, I decided to weather the frame and gun to make it stand out from the rest of the Freedoms on this site. The frame was painted Krylon fusion black and was then drybrushed with Citadels Brazen brass followed by Shining gold which gave it a unique look. The shading was acheived by accident. All I did was prime the parts gray followed by a coat of white and when I went to do the second coat I realized that the armor had shadows and there was no need for more paint. I'll definitely be using this technique again! There are a couple of spots in the frame that can be seen that have no paint. That was from the subassemblies that I had to do for the Krylon paint, they have since been touched up.
I love that pose
