Phase 1 Skeith: The Terror of Death  Discussions »
A scratchbuild of Skeith from .Hack/Infection. Used Sculpey for all the body parts and styrene rod to hold them together. Has about 4 layers of drybrushing to achieve the rocky look and the base has about 6 layers of drybrushing. The wand does'nt look to good, but I will be making another soon now that I know more about scratchbuilding. Skeith was an overall fun experience and I do plan on making the GU version in the future, but Innis is calling me...

A boxed model kit is like your dreams. They'll never be what you want them to be unless you make it happen.

Not a bad start but I am quite interested in how far you can develop your skills. In your next piece I would like you to craft clean germitric shaps to your piece to create the finish you want. I will show you want I mean in my first build I'll show you guys. But yeah keep them rolling...

Yeah, it was a full scratchbuild. It's my second time building from scratch and it was quite enjoyable. I intend to make all of the .Hack bosses and what better than to start with the first phase.

Looks awsome man! Turned out to be quite interesting. Does look static but something you can work on in your next build. Awsome base...

The base looks really good, and the black connectors turned out better than I anticipated. However, I still think his pose is too static, but overall, nice job doing it from scratch! Oh! And the base looks great!
