PG Eva- 01  Discussions »
My first model. Originally hand painted but, I decided to strip it and airbrush it. I went for darker colors compared to the bright anime colors in hopes of bringing out his demon-like features. Also my first attempt at a diorama base. (I'll make a better base when I decide to stop being lazy)

A boxed model kit is like your dreams. They'll never be what you want them to be unless you make it happen.

beautiful eva, what dullcoate (if any) did you use on it to give it that look?

I never commented on this one, mainly because I hate eva designs... but I LOVE how you did the pastels for the body color with that neon green, gives a very nice effect

Nice work! I really like the colouring too. Tri painting the base too. You can get some really interesting effects that way...

Wow, you don't see too many eva's especially PG's that are finished, certainly not this well finished. I like your choice of colors actually, a little weathering on the feet would make it look more natural and in tune with your diorama base. great work :)

I'm surprised. I actually expected a bunch of negative comments on this model for not staying true to his bright anime colors. That happened when I first finished him and showed him off to a bunch of Evangelion fans. They were not happy. So thanks for the comments everyone!

Yeah, I made the display base. All I did was glue some dirt down and add some Woodland scenics foliage. I'm working on a better base for it right now
