This is a strange entry, so you have to use your imagination.
Latter end of the one year war, Zeon is being pushed off of the earth. Everything Zeon has is being thrown at the federation (BOO!). With the success of the Magella attack tank for ground forces, Zeon forces located near present day Israel took the body and armor from an Ancient Tank and modified it. Keeping the armor and the look the same, as a deception. The cannon was modified with from a 120mm cannon to a beam cannon. The MGs on the tank were all automated, the controls replaces with something like that of a Zaku, allow linking fire of all the MGs as well as the cannon, and allowing the tank to be piloted by a single person. Lastly the armor and reactive armor was re-inforced with The Super Strong Steel Alloy which the Zaku are built of.
The HT-02D was extremely effective in combat against federation non mobile suit divisions, (type 61s and ground infantry) which were still used over many parts of the earth sphere while the GMs were being mass produced. Only a few of these tanks were used, partially because of the Zeon order to leave earth, partially because of the lack of resources and parts. Needless to say, it was never mass produced

i can see y it was never mass produced... this piece of junk looks like it was from WWII
but to my eyes its a beauty. i like the creativity and the painting. my imagination was able to picture the inside and all the elements including the beam cannon. awesome work!!!
