I was one of the organizers of the "Mecha Modeling Workshop" - a hands-on model-building class held at various anime conventions on the US east coast. The first Workshop was held at Anime Boston 2004 - the most recent was at Tekkoshocon 2006. The availability of inexpensive Gundam Seed models in clearance outlets such as Big Lots helped to make the program more affordable for attendees.
Presently my great modeling ambition is to build a 1:100 scale model of the Zaku Kai: the silhouette in my avatar was made from plans I drew for that project.

- Modeling Mistake/Accident:
I built a VF-1 - Roy Focker's colors - but the white paint was applied over different types of primers on different areas of the kit. It wound up two-toned, and I ultimately scrapped it.
