Well....this is a project which has been an on and then off again build. I consider it almost complete, almost being the key word. Other than the finishing touches on an LED mono eye, better hand detail, and a few touch ups, I am ready to move on! My Zaku/Dom prototype began with the idea of a diorama showing the battle between the RB-79K Ball Type K and the MS-06RD-4 Zaku II Prototype from the beginning of 08 MS TEAM.
The prototype is a combination of various Zaku parts and legs from a Dom. For the rounded skirt, I bent pieces of sheet styrene and glued them to the body of the Zaku. After several rounds of putty, I filled the gaps and sanded them down for a smooth finish. Using more putty, I increased the groin for the thicker armor and to keep the skirt in place. I also added extra sheet styrene for thicker wrists and added toes to the feet. As far as the color scheme, I did not like the deep purple route and thought a little closer to pink might be best. I used Panzer Gray and Ghost Gray with a darkened 50's pink. I applied water slide decals from Mecha Skunk and metal energy cables from AKO Creation. I used a Dremel tool and hobby knife following in my crazy idea for a battle damaged prototype and weathered the damage with various washes and dry brushing. Serious coats of flat lacquer finalized the finish.
Any and all comments are appreciated. Thanks!

I looked at the 7th picture where you are refernceing an image to your build and I must say you have done a great job matching the colour and shape (with your own artistic input aside). The weathering feels a little messy and I spot a seam line on the inner arm. Aside from that good work...
