Hi. You can call me "Zero". I'm a modeler from the midwestern United States who still hand-paints everything. The key is to constantly thin your paints as you're applying them. And then be prepared to brush thinner across the model to even out the paint. Thin paint in thin layers is the key to success--and no visible brush-strokes.

zerobxu 06/01 05:40		Practice and thinned paints. Using 91% alcohol with Tamiya paints is the best combo for me, personally. Check the forums for a long tutorial I wrote on hand-painting. :)

deathworld_dragon 03/15 22:15		Thanks for the comment man. The Zeta has an interested storie behind it. Half of a MG zeta was bought off a convicted pedofile. After it was built (half scarch built) I tock it to the Australian IPMS model show. When I was takeing it home I got hit by a car (20m from the dame door) and the model smashed into little pieces. I rebuilt it as you see it today then watched Zeta gundam and saw were I went wrong (true storie plus this is the first gundam I ever built). I also have to thank you for that paint guide you made in the forums. I handed it to a few friends so they can improve there painting (which is bad). Your guide turned them around and now they can paint. Plus any advice on poorly engineered kits, stuff like pieces not fitting, large hard to reach seams and holes in the plastic? Thanks mate...
